Velavan is an experienced audit professional with over 10 years of expertise in assurance, audit, and financial reporting. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from SEGi University College and is currently pursuing the ACCA qualification.

His professional journey includes roles in established firms such as Mazars PLT, PKF PLT, Ecovis Malaysia, and McMillanwoods PLT. Velavan has led audit engagements for SMEs, multinational companies, and public listed entities, with a strong grasp of MFRS, MPERS, and IFRS frameworks.
